Aveley Primary School

A centre of learning since 1914

Respect, Resilience, Responsibility
Monday 11th December cancelled EYFS and KS1 productions will now take place on Thursday 14th December at the same times

History

Aveley Primary School was formed in 1990 when the Aveley Infants and Junior schools joined together. Since September 2005 the school has been based in one building built in the early 1950’s.  The Aveley Discovery Centre was the Key Stage One building until then.

Currently KS2 is based in the main building, with purpose built classrooms for KS1 and Reception. All children have access to technology including laptops and Ipads. In 2014, we opened our library bus which is an iconic part of the school.

The school has plenty of space both in and outside the buildings. There are two playgrounds, a large school field and a Multi-use games area. There is a separate dining room and school hall. We have a dedicated Food Technology Area; Library and Art and Design & Technology Room, a wildlife area and pond.
